Job Description
Drives the continuous improvement of supply with constraint suppliers. Responsible for balancing inventories throughout the Electronics and Wiring Plants when a supplier has capacity and/or supply constraints. Will typically be responsible for managing both the manufacturing plant and suppliers on those constrained raw material part numbers.
Responsibilities
- Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities
- Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross‑functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long‑term corrective actions
- Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity
- Develop allocation strategies with both suppliers and manufacturing plants to achieve results
- Support materials teams with escalations on immediate supply crisis for resolution

Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 8 years of supply chain experience
