What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do
Perform and provide body treatments and massages for spa guests.
Essential Functions
* Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
* Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Licenses or Certificates
* Must be a Certified Massage Therapist for the State of California and have a permit for the City of La Quinta.
Other Duties
* Maintain regular attendance in conformance with the standards set by La Quinta Resort.
Safety Requirements
* OSHA laws require the use of the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when performing work duties that have the potential of risk to your health or safety.
Grooming
* All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well‑groomed appearance (specific standards available).
* Hair longer than shoulder length shall be pulled back in a presentable fashion.
* Uniforms will be provided and worn by team members.
Experience
* 2 years in massage therapy practice or in a resort spa as a therapist preferred.
* Previous customer service experience preferred.
* NO soliciting to guests will be allowed.
Compensation
$16.50 per hour.
