Job Description Role Summary
As Brand Manager for Consumer Health at DRL Spain/Portugal, you will lead the strategic development and execution of brand plans for the Nicotinelle portfolio, driving brand growth, market share, and profitability in alignment with DRL’s mission to provide affordable and innovative healthcare solutions.
Adecuado candidate will be based in Barcelona, Spain and report to Cluster Head Western and Southern Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement annual brand plans and long‑term strategies for assigned products with local co‑marketers.
- Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and consumer insights.
- Adapt and translate global brand positioning, messaging, and value proposition to local markets.
- Marketing Execution
- Co‑lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and healthcare channels.
- Collaborate with co‑marketers to brief media agency and support creative agencies and internal teams in developing or localizing promotional materials.
- Lead product launches and lifecycle strategies in collaboration with partners.
- Liaise daily with co‑marketers, sales teams, and field reps to gather insights and ensure alignment.
- Track budgets, assist with PO creation and invoice processing, and maintain product documentation and marketing approval workflows.
- Ensure all advertising documentation complies with internal regulatory processes.
- Performance Management
- Build reporting templates and monitor brand performance through KPIs (sales, market share, ROI, distribution).
- Create monthly reports and presentations for the cluster team on performance, market updates, and competitor actions.
- Analyze campaign effectiveness and optimize marketing spend.
- Prepare regular performance reports and strategic recommendations.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain teams of Dr Reddy & co‑marketer.
- Align brand strategies with commercial objectives, compliance standards, and global vision.
- Support training and engagement initiatives for the field force.
- Propose local insights and feedback to headquarters to influence broader strategy.
- Innovation & Portfolio Development
- Identify consumer trends and unmet needs to guide new product development.
- Contribute to portfolio expansion strategies in the Spanish market.
Qualifications
Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences (Master’s preferred).
Minimum work experience: 8–10 years of brand management experience within the pharmaceutical/consumer health industry (OTC medicine).

- Previous experience in Portugal business is a plus
