Senior Cybersecurity Consultant - Governance

What You Will Accomplish Here…
As a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant, you will work with clients to assess, develop, and implement policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance. You will guide clients in developing an improved security posture, including creating security programs aligned with information security frameworks.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Conduct security assessments for various clients.
* Provide consulting for security frameworks like ISO27001, NIST CSF, and NIST 800-53.
* Assist in risk management and mitigation strategies.
* Recommend and enforce information security standards and compliance.
* Define security requirements for projects and ensure adherence.
* Review and advise on security architecture based on best practices and regulations.
* Develop security health checks and remediation plans.
* Support sales of security assignments as a subject matter expert.
* Lead thought leadership in information security practices.
* Collaborate with other service teams to meet client needs.
* Research and apply best practices and trends in security.
* Deliver professional and timely service to clients.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, Skills, and Credentials
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; practical experience considered.
* Certifications: CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal support.
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
* High attention to detail and quality.
Preferred Skills
* Deep knowledge of security program development and frameworks.
* Experience designing and implementing security solutions.
* Understanding of ISO/IEC 27001, COBIT, NIST CSF.
* Familiarity with threat modeling and security review methodologies.
* Experience mentoring team members and contributing to technical processes.
Location: This is an in-office position at our Sant Cugat del Valles, Spain location.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
Pay: EUR 58,000 - 63,000 gross annually
Travel: Up to 50% travel expected.
