SENIOR DATA GOVERNANCE ENGINEEROverviewThis role involves scaling, automating, and optimizing HBX data governance policies and processes across all data life cycle stages. You will contribute to delivering the Data Governance Roadmap and creating a data quality foundation by developing technical solutions related to:
Data Governance & Management policies as codeAutomatic Data Observability and Quality metrics implementationMetadata Management & Data CatalogueData Policies and Procedures automationData Security processes and controls automationResponsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Data Governance Office, your responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing automated Data Governance policies and procedures, detecting bad practices, and preventing data quality issues across the data stack and lifecycleDesigning and implementing automated Data Management policies, procedures, and controls (policy as code) to prevent data misuseDesigning and implementing automated Data Quality validation, metrics, and controlsDesigning and implementing automated Data Observability alerts and workflowsWorking with the Data Governance Enterprise Architect to design optimal data architecture and infrastructure for governed and quality data extraction, transformation, and loading using SQL, Python, and AWS big data technologiesBuilding or deploying Data Governance tools to support Data Analysts and Data Scientists in developing and optimizing productsSkillsEducationComputer & Information Science / Computer Engineering / MathematicsMaster’s Degree in BI & Data Analytics, Big DataExperienceAdvanced Python knowledge and experience with databases for enterprise applications and MLAdvanced SQL knowledge and experience with relational databasesData Security management (encryption, masking, GDPR, PCI, secrets, SSO, MFA)Experience in root cause analysis and data system automationStrong analytical skills with structured and unstructured datasetsTechnical SkillsCloud Data Warehouse Platforms:
