Role Overview
The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for leading business development in Southern Europe and managing high-level relationships with key stakeholders across the marine and shipbuilding sectors. This position requires a strategic and technical approach to sales, leveraging your network, regional expertise, and industry knowledge to identify and secure business opportunities, while driving the company’s growth in this strategically important region.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, shipyards, and system integrators
* Identify, evaluate, and convert business opportunities in European and international markets
* Serve as a technical advisor, translating complex engineering solutions to client requirements
* Lead the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation
* Collaborate closely with internal engineering and project teams
* Represent the company at industry events, technical conferences, and client meetings
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications:
* Technical background in electrical engineering, automation, or related disciplines
* Proven experience in technical sales within the marine or shipbuilding industry
* Established professional network among shipowners, shipyards, or integrators
* Ability to understand and communicate complex engineering solutions effectively
* Proficient in English
