RED Global is working with one of our key clients on a new long-term freelance opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in SAP Basis.
You'll lead complex infrastructure-related SAP projects involving system upgrades, cloud environments, and Basis operations.
* Start: ASAP
* Duration: 12 months + possible extension
* Location: Madrid, Spain - other locations could also be considered
* Language: English fluent, Spanish desirable
Key requirements:
* 10+ years of SAP Basis experience
* Proven track record with installations, upgrades, system refreshes (ECC, BW/BI, PI/PO)
* Expertise in complex environments (DR, BRS)
* Experience working with SAP on Linux/Wintel and across HANA, Oracle, and SQL databases
* Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
* Experience in managing Basis-related projects and audits
* Strong Project Management background (risk assessment, planning, leadership, communication)
This is a Project Manager role — the successful candidate will oversee infrastructure delivery across multiple initiatives, collaborate with an existing technical team, and drive project success without being hands-on technically.
