Amaris Consulting – Back End Developer in Barcelona
Overview
Amaris Consulting is an independent technology consulting firm serving over 1000 clients worldwide with a global team of 7,600 people across five continents. We are looking for a Back End Developer in Barcelona who will build scalable, high-quality backend applications using C# and Azure Cloud Services, working in an agile environment with a diverse international team. Spanish fluency is required.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain robust backend applications using C# (.NET) and Azure Cloud Services.
* Design, optimize, and maintain NoSQL database structures (CosmosDB) to ensure data integrity and performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) methodologies.
* Apply SOLID principles and Clean Code standards to deliver high-quality software.
* Engage in problem management, including monitoring, incident troubleshooting, and reporting.
* Participate in the full product lifecycle from conception to operations as part of the ICVC transversal asset team.
* Work with Azure DevOps for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience as a Back End Developer.
* Strong senior knowledge of C# and Azure Cloud Services (5+ years).
* 3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps and REST APIs.
* Familiarity with Azure Functions (highly valuable).
* Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally CosmosDB.
* Proficient with DevOps mindset, SCRUM/Agile methodologies, SOLID principles, and Clean Code practices.
* Advanced proficiency in Spanish and good communication skills in English.
* Strong problem-solving skills including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident management, and reporting.
* Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
