Supply Chain & Packaging Engineer
for our team in
Barcelona
area
to work in one of the most important
Tier 1
in the
automotive sector
to design and implement efficient Supply Chain and Packaging solutions for industrial projects, ensuring safety, quality, customer service and cost optimization from the design phase through start of production.
Missions:
Design the complete Supply Chain and Packaging scheme (physical and information flows, stock levels, layouts and logistics means).
Define and control logistics budgets, packaging investments and project KPIs.
Coordinate with plants, suppliers and cross-functional teams during AVP, development, ramp-up and production phases.
Ensure compliance with standards, safety policies, Lean principles and risk management.
Participate in the selection and technical validation of logistics and packaging suppliers.
Provide on-site support to plants during start of production and ramp-up phases.
Requirements:
Engineering background with experience in industrial logistics, supply chain or packaging, preferably in the automotive or industrial sector.
Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain principles and mechanical engineering basics (ability to work with 3D viewer software).
High level of English and Spanish.
Availability to travel
Location: Near to Barcelona.
