The Crew Meals Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Vueling Crew Meals program across the network. The role will oversee forecasting, procurement, supplier management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and operational execution to ensure product availability, service continuity, food safety compliance, and cost efficiency across all operational bases.
About the Role
The Crew Meals Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the Vueling Crew Meals program across the network.
Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end Crew Meals supply chain across all Vueling operational bases.
* Manage demand forecasting, consumption analysis, and replenishment planning.
* Coordinate suppliers, warehouses, transport providers, and operational teams to ensure service continuity.
* Monitor stock levels, inventory accuracy, product shelf life, and days of coverage.
* Identify and mitigate stock-out risks, supplier disruptions, and operational contingencies.
* Lead supplier performance reviews, corrective action plans, and service level management.
* Develop contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to minimize operational risk.
* Coordinate menu changes, new product launches, and seasonal transitions.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen, labeling, and quality requirements.
* Control wastage, expiry management, and inventory optimization initiatives.
* Provide weekly reporting on stock coverage, supplier performance, risks, and action plans.
* Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Category, and Vueling stakeholders.
* Drive continuous improvement projects to improve service levels and reduce supply chain costs.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Food Service Management, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Catering, Food Service, Retail, Logistics, or Procurement.
* Strong experience managing suppliers, inventory, and operational planning.
* Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
* Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
