The SAP Security Architect (m / f / d) is responsible for designing and maintaining a secure SAP landscape that aligns with corporate information security strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP systems and modules, as well as the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
Location:
Madrid city centre. The position offers flexible work-from-home options until the new office is fully set up, after which onsite presence is required.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the technical design and development of secure SAP architectures, including access control, data protection, and threat mitigation.
* Define and enforce SAP security policies, standards, and procedures in line with the Information Security Framework.
* Conduct risk assessments and recommend security controls within SAP environments.
* Evaluate SAP security technologies and solutions.
* Identify and implement security enhancements for SAP platforms (e.G., S/4HANA, ECC, BW, Fiori).
* Collaborate with SAP development, engineering, IT operations, and compliance teams to embed security throughout the SAP lifecycle.
* Promote a security-by-design approach among stakeholders.
* Contribute to the Corporate Information Security architecture community.
* Stay updated on SAP security trends, vulnerabilities, and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's/Master's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
* At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience focusing on SAP environments.
* Preferred certifications:
CISSP, CISM, or SAP certifications.
* Proficiency in English;
German and French are advantageous.
* Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
* Expertise in SAP security best practices, user and role management, authorization concepts, and secure configuration.
* In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA, RISE, ECC, and other modules' security implications.
* Experience designing secure architectures for cloud and on-premise SAP deployments.
* Familiarity with Enterprise Access Management (EAM) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
