Business Development Manager – Lisbon/Madrid
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings. They are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the geographies of Portugal and Spain to join their team in Lisbon or Madrid.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Overseeing the entire business development process; using and updating the CRM system
Seeking new business opportunities in Spain and Portugal
Prospecting companies looking to implement activities on a national level, in line with the strategy defined by the company’s Business Development department
Maintaining and developing your network of contacts and information likely to generate new business opportunities for the company
Participating in networking events
Establishing specific Customer Account Plans (developing and defining a sales strategy and action plan)
Determining the commercial environment of offers to establish the appropriate sales strategy to obtain maximum added value
Executing account plans and updating the sales strategy and action plan to identify and qualify projects; make binding commercial offers for the company’s technical resources; signing design & build contracts with performance commitments
PROFILE
Degree qualified in Business Development, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
At least 10 years of experience in selling turnkey construction projects
Strong knowledge of urbanisation, construction legislation, and financial aspects of construction projects
Fluency in spoken and written Portuguese and Spanish, with English or French an advantage
The right to live and work in the EU
