Offer Description

We are seeking to recruit a Senior Researcher for the INSPIRE Project, GENTIC Research Group, based at the UOC's Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Social and Cultural Transformations (UOC-TRÀNSIC).

The INSPIRE/GENTIC Transfer Lead will play a pivotal role in advancing inclusive gender equality in research and innovation by managing and enhancing training and capacity-building initiatives. This role involves revising existing materials, coordinating training activities, and identifying funding opportunities to support the development of gender equality tools and services.

Responsibilities

1. Training Material Revision.

* Review and update all existing training materials, including INSPIRE Support Packages and Open Training Units.
* Revamp and update online presence regarding GEAM Gender Equality Audit and Monitoring) tool.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive catalogue of available training provisions related to gender equality in research and innovation and other issues related to gender equality in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

3. Training Request Management.

* Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming training requests.
* Maintain a tracking system to monitor and respond to requests efficiently.

4. Training Coordination & Delivery.

* Deliver training sessions when appropriate, ensuring high-quality and impactful learning experiences.
* Identify and liaise with suitable trainers or experts to fulfill training needs.
* Setup and manage GEAM survey tool requests.

5. Funding and Development.

* Proactively seek funding opportunities to expand and enhance training and capacity-building services.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop proposals and secure resources.
* Search of potential customers.
* Participation in the development of scientific outputs (publications, contributions to conferences).

The successful candidate will be awarded a temporary part-time contract until 30 September 2026. The scheduled start date is January 2026.

For work on site, the principal location will be the UOC Campus, at Rambla del Poblenou 154-156, Barcelona. At the UOC, we work with an open working model that combines remote working with work on-site, according to organizational needs and the nature of the tasks involved.

* Social Sciences University Degree (i.e. Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, etc).
* Proven experience (minimum 5 years)in gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in research or innovation contexts.
* Strong background in training design, delivery, and coordination (English / Spanish).
* Familiarity with the GEAM tool and INSPIRE outputs.
* Background in both quantitative as well as qualitative data analysis and reporting.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
* Experience in securing funding and developing proposals is an advantage.
* Microsoft Office: PPT, Word.
* High level of communication skills, both oral and written, in Spanish and English.
