Job Title: Senior Project Manager (SPM)
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is responsible for approving and implementing changes and updates in projects. They serve as the primary contact between Project Managers (PMs) and Senior Program Managers (SPMs). The SPM regularly meets with clients to understand their project requirements and ensures delivery aligns with client needs. They collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to assemble project teams with the best fit for each role. Project management experience is required.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee a single project, ensuring all aspects are managed effectively.
* Establish methods for daily production reporting and review key data.
* Compile and manage timekeeping records for management approval and submission.
* Promote and facilitate Lean implementation within the team.
* Conduct interviews for project management positions and participate in hiring decisions.
* Meet with clients to provide project updates and address concerns.
* Resolve project issues at a process level.
* Coordinate with PMs and SPMs to ensure comprehensive coverage of duties within the process flow.
* Initiate and communicate process changes or updates promptly, ensuring proper implementation by team members.
* Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate waste, enhance flow, and increase efficiency.
* Review End of Day (EOD) reports related to process flow on assigned projects.
* Achieve or surpass all KPIs related to daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
* Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
* College or university degree.
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Experience with online communication tools.
* Proven project management experience.
* Data collection expertise.
* Basic knowledge of PowerBI and internet-based platforms.
* Willingness to work overtime if necessary.
* Experience working in an office environment.
* Strong leadership qualities, including the ability to give and receive feedback, delegate effectively, and demonstrate confidence.
* Ability to understand and give clear directions, perform tasks within time constraints, and work accurately and efficiently.
* Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Organized, focused, and capable of working independently within a team setting.
