In this role, you will oversee opportunity management, pipeline development, and closing activities, working closely with cross‐functional teams to ensure a consistent and high‐quality customer experience across the entire sales cycle.How you will do Lead, coach, and develop the Inside Sales team, fostering a high‐performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Set clear objectives and individual sales goals, managing team workloads, priorities and performance to ensure consistent delivery against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.Track, analyze, and manage key KPIs such as pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales activity, ensuring visibility and data‐driven decisions.Drive effective lead management through timely qualification, follow‐up and progression of opportunities through the sales funnel, while supporting pipeline creation and early‐stage opportunity development.Foster strong alignment and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Service and Field teams to maximise business opportunities and ensure a seamless customer experience.Maintain high standards of customer communication and engagement across the team, ensuring professionalism, responsiveness and value‐driven interactions.Ensure accurate CRM usage and high‐quality data management to support forecasting, reporting and operational excellence.Lead regular team meetings, 1:1s and performance reviews, providing feedback, guidance and support to enable individual and team success.Promote consistency, efficiency, and continuous process improvement across the team, optimising workflows and sales practices.What we look for Relevant experience in Inside Sales, Sales Operations, or Sales Team Management, ideally within a B2B or service‐driven environment.Proven leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate, develop and drive high‐performing teams.Strong ability to manage targets, performance and multiple priorities in a fast‐paced, results‐oriented environment.Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions.Data‐driven mindset, with experience using CRM tools and sales metrics to monitor performance and support decision‐making.Proactive and results‐oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Experience in a technical, industrial or service‐based environment (e.G., HVAC, Building Solutions, Fire & Security) is highly desirable.Strong customer focus, with a solution‐oriented mindset and a commitment to delivering high‐quality service.Ability to work both strategically and operationally, balancing team leadership with hands‐on involvement when needed.Professionalism, integrity and a continuous improvement mindset.What we offer Johnson Controls provides a competitive remuneration package aligned with your qualifications and experience, including an attractive social benefits package such as life and accident insurance and flexible remuneration options.
