Experienced Supply Packaging Technician – Coty

A Senior Supply Chain Packaging (SCP) technical leader responsible for developing new initiatives and improving Granollers Site competitiveness.
Responsibilities
* Primary technical point of contact for innovation and strategic projects, collaborating with stakeholders such as the Site Initiative Leader, Procurement, R&D Technical (Formula & Pack), Planning Hub, and Quality.
* Contribute to new initiative start‑ups, providing inputs in the design phase, supporting FMEA, and managing project handover with R&D packaging.
* Originate tertiary packaging specifications, validate end‑of‑line configurations, and run transport tests.
* Manage the development of suppliers’ capability and capacity, performing root‑cause analysis in specifications deviation.
* Support the Business Continuity Plan by duplicating specifications to new suppliers, increasing existing suppliers’ capacity, and applying regulatory requirements.
* Support quality improvement activities such as revisiting specification tolerances and modifying delivery methods or packing instructions.
* Partner with Operations to improve production processes and drive line‑efficiency improvements.
* Identify, assess, and implement cost‑saving opportunities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, BA, or a related academic background.
* 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within packaging.
* Advanced English proficiency.
* Proficiency in 2D and 3D packaging design software.
* Methodical, organized, and able to set priorities.
* Strong written and spoken communication skills.
* Results‑focused, able to react to a dynamic environment to deliver business needs.
* Collaborative mindset, supportive of team spirit.
* Strong sense of individual accountability and ownership of performance.
