We're hiring a Project Coordinator to support retail store rollouts in France and Belgium.
At TheCore-studio, we deliver retail fit-out projects for international brands across 50+ countries. Our team in Barcelona coordinates everything from site surveys to store openings, working with local architects, contractors, and clients across multiple markets simultaneously.
For this role, we're looking for someone who knows how projects work on the ground in France and/or Belgium: the pace, the local regulations and how permit and approval processes are structured not as the person filing the paperwork, but as the one making sure it moves.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinating retail projects from due diligence and site survey through design and store opening
* Tracking permit and approval timelines alongside local architects, following up, flagging delays, keeping the schedule honest
* Managing project trackers, workback plans, and milestone reporting across multiple projects
* Joining weekly calls with clients and international teams (in English and French)
* Reviewing drawings and technical documentation for coordination alignment
* Acting as the communication link between our Barcelona team and local partners in French-speaking markets
What we're looking for
* 3+ years in retail, commercial fit-out, or store rollout coordination
* Experience working on projects in France and/or Belgium
* Familiar with local permit and planning processes
* Fluent in French and English (both required at professional level)
* Comfortable with AutoCAD; Revit is a plus
* Strong with Excel, MS Project, or similar tracking tools
* Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
