Purpose of the RoleThe European Sales Manager will be responsible for driving commercial growth and expanding market share of shrink bags (retractile bags) within the food industry across Europe. This role focuses on developing new business, managing key accounts, and strengthening the company’s presence among food processors, meat producers, dairy, and packaged food manufacturers.The position requires a strong hunter mindset combined with the ability to build long-term strategic customer relationships in a highly technical and regulated packaging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify, approach, and develop new customers across European markets.Build a strong pipeline of food industry clients (meat, poultry, cheese, processed foods, etc.).Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.Develop distributor and strategic partner networks where relevant.Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within packaging solutions.Act as the main commercial point of contact for key clients in Europe.Collaborate with technical and production teams to ensure product fit and customization.Provide commercial and technical advice to clients regarding shrink bag applications.Support testing, product validation, and implementation processes with customers.Report sales pipeline, forecasts, and market intelligence to senior management.Requirements5–10+ years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in:Flexible packagingFood packaging solutionsPlastics, films, or industrial packagingProven experience selling to food manufacturers or FMCG clients.Strong track record in international / European sales.Strong hunter mentality with excellent closing skills.Technical understanding of packaging solutions (preferred).
