Job Description for EASA B1 / B2 Technician - Madrid
We are affiliated with Textron Aviation Cessna Citation Service Centers (Paris, Valencia, Dusseldorf, Prague, and Zurich), part of a leading global company in manufacturing and maintaining Business Jets and Private Aircraft. Our network of Maintenance and Repair Organizations employs approximately 400 specialists across Europe, dedicated to providing high-quality maintenance, repairs, and installations for the entire Cessna, Hawker, and Beechcraft product lines.
We are seeking highly qualified and motivated B1 / B2 EASA technicians for our Go Team in Madrid.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform diagnostic and mechanical duties on jet and turboprop aircraft models, including troubleshooting, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of various aircraft systems to ensure aircraft are mechanically prepared for flight and delivery.
2. Inspect, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies such as landing gear, air conditioning, pressurization systems, and optional equipment installations.
3. Repair or replace engine components and accessories, including fuel control units, air bleed systems, oil and fuel pumps, starters, generators, and hydraulic pumps.
4. Follow annual and progressive inspection procedures as outlined in aircraft maintenance manuals.
5. Perform modifications on aircraft systems and structures.
6. Maintain clear, concise, and accurate documentation in logs, inspection reports, and parts identification for issue and return processes.
7. Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, alignments, and preventive maintenance.
8. Operate in accordance with the latest safety standards to maintain aircraft in optimal, airworthy, and reliable condition for customer safety.
9. Utilize tools such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, and hand tools for repairs and modifications.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
* EASA B1 / C or B2 license, with Citation type ratings (CJ Excel & Latitude).
* Highly motivated team player.
* Proficient in reading and writing English.
* Availability to work weekends and late shifts.
* Willing to travel.
