As the Night Auditor, you will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's operations during the overnight shift, ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests, and ensuring smooth and efficient hotel operations. This position is critical to the daily success of the hotel and will require a proactive, service-oriented individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. /pp Key Responsibilities: /pulli Guest Service Hospitality: /lili Provide exceptional guest service to ensure the satisfaction of our overnight guests. /lili Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner, ensuring a personalized experience. /lili Assist with check-ins and check-outs during the overnight hours. /lili Monitor the hotel’s security system and ensure the safety and security of guests and staff. /lili Night Auditing Financial Duties: /lili Perform all night audit functions, including balancing and verifying daily hotel financial transactions and reports. /lili Reconcile the hotel’s daily revenue, ensuring that all charges are correct and properly accounted for. /lili Process nightly financial reports and ensure accuracy in billing and revenue distribution. /lili Ensure proper coding and reconciliation of hotel charges and credits. /lili Operational Duties: /lili Ensure all reports, guest folios, and room status updates are complete and accurate. /lili Maintain accurate records of any guest issues, incidents, or requests and follow through to resolution. /lili Communicate and work closely with the day shift team to ensure smooth transition and update on key operational matters. /lili Administrative Tasks: /lili Complete end-of-day financial processes and submit required documentation to the accounting team. /lili Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the front desk area. /lili Support the management team by providing feedback on guest preferences, issues, and operational insights. /li /ulp Qualifications: /pulli Experience: /lili Previous experience in a hotel or customer service environment, preferably in a similar role (Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent, or similar). /lili Experience in handling cash, credit transactions, and performing audits is highly preferred. /li /ululli Skills: /lili Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. /lili Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. /lili Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Protel, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. /lili Knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures is a plus. /li /ululli Other Requirements: /lili Ability to work the overnight shift (typically 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM). /lili A professional and polished appearance in line with the hotel’s luxury standards. /lili Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and resolution. /lili Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. /li /ul
