At BOLD, we design and build the next generation of high-performance battery systems for the world's most demanding industries — from Formula 1 and hypercars to aerospace, marine and defense. Our mission: to deliver energy systems where every millisecond and every degree matter.
What You'll Do
Plan, execute and analyze validation tests to ensure our high-voltage battery systems meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability.
Develop and maintain Design Verification Plans (DVPs), linking system requirements to test activities and ensuring complete coverage throughout the validation process.
Set up and operate test benches and measurement systems — including battery cyclers, climatic chambers, vibration and shock rigs, EMC and abuse test setups.
Use tools like CANalyzer, CANoe, PCAN Explorer, Python, Concerto or vSignalyzer to collect, process and interpret test data.
Collaborate with design, systems, hardware and software engineers to identify issues, propose solutions and verify design improvements.
Apply and adapt testing standards and safety regulations from automotive, motorsport, aerospace and defense industries.
Contribute to continuous improvement by refining test methodologies, introducing automation or data management tools, and supporting the development of new test infrastructure.
Act as a technical reference within the Testing team, guiding and supporting junior engineers in developing their testing skills and ensuring consistent, high-quality validation practices.
