NIUKO is seeking a Technical Project Manager with strong project leadership capabilities and experience in managing digital or technology-driven projects in manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
This role is ideal for a project manager who excels at coordinating cross-disciplinary teams, understands enough of the technical landscape to guide decision-making, and thrives on building strong client relationships. While not a hands-on engineering role, it requires a solid grasp of digital technologies in manufacturing environments to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution. The successful candidate will drive collaborative project delivery and be a trusted partner to both clients and internal teams.
This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities :
* Project Leadership & Execution : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and scope are met. Act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Client Collaboration & Requirements Gathering : Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients. Work closely with clients to define project objectives, translate their operational needs into deliverable outcomes, manage expectations, and obtain feedback. Translate operational needs into clear, actionable project outcomes.
* Team & Technical Coordination : Lead cross-functional project teams (including software developers, automation engineers, and solution architects) ensuring clarity of roles, alignment of technical decisions with client goals, and consistent progress toward deliverables. Facilitate effective collaboration between technical and business stakeholders, supporting teams with context, prioritization, and direction.
* Risk & Quality Management : Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Maintain high standards in project documentation, compliance, and reporting.
* Continuous Improvement : Evaluate project outcomes, identify lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies. Contribute to the refinement of NIUKO’s project management practices and tools.
Key Qualifications :
* Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile / Scrum) is a plus.
* Language : Fluent in English (oral and written). Spanish is a plus.
* Project Management Experience : Proven experience (3+ years) managing technical projects in industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally within the pharmaceutical sector.
* Interpersonal Skills : Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build trust with clients.
* Technical Background : Background in IT systems, data integration, or digital manufacturing platforms. Preferred background with technologies such as OPC UA, MQTT, SCADA (Aveva, Ignition), MES (Werum PAS-X, Siemens OpCenter), and data historians (Aveva PI, AspenTech Inmation).
* Tools & Methodologies : Proficient in using project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project). Familiarity with agile delivery frameworks and DevOps principles.
* Compliance & Validation : Understanding of validation processes and compliance standards such as cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, or GAMP 5 is a plus.
What We Offer :
* Collaborative Multidisciplinary Team : Work alongside experts with deep expertise in Industry 4.0 and Pharma 4.0 technologies.
* Innovative Projects : Lead cutting-edge digital transformation initiatives for leading multinational pharmaceutical companies.
* Supportive Work Environment : Be part of a cooperative, positive, and growth-oriented workplace culture.
* Attractive Compensation : Competitive salary package aligned with industry standards.
* Work-Life Balance : Flexible working hours and remote work options available.
