We are looking for a technically driven Business Development Engineer to join our advanced engineering and manufacturing team. This is a key commercial role at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing and strategic customer partnerships. The ideal candidate combines strong technical understanding of design, simulation, testing and manufacturing methods with the ability to build trusted relationships and unlock new business opportunities. Identify, qualify and win new business opportunities across defence domains. Translate complex engineering solutions (design, simulation, test & validation, additive manufacturing) into clear value propositions for decision-makers.Engage in technical discussions with engineers and commercial negotiations with procurement and leadership teams.Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, proposal creation, contract negotiation and closing.Work with technical teams to shape tailored solutions that align with client requirements, including performance, cost and delivery.Support preparation of bids, proposals and technical-commercial documentation.Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting in CRM/ERP systems.3+ years of experience in technical sales, business development or customer-facing engineering roles.~ Experience working with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers or technology companies in the defence sector.~ Proficiency in Spanish and English;
additional languages a plus.~ Previous experience selling high-value engineering services, simulation software, or additive manufacturing solutions.~ Knowledge of defence procurement frameworks, aerospace certification pathways or automotive supplier programmes.~ Familiarity with CRM systems and structured sales methodologies.
