Omega CRM Consulting is looking for a DevOps / Platform Developer that would like to collaborate with one of the top global pharmaceutical companies.
We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure supporting Next.js applications and microservices architectures. This role will be critical, with full ownership of AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on DevOps engineer with strong AWS expertise, Infrastructure as Code experience, container orchestration skills, and a solid understanding of backend application development. You will work closely with engineering teams to enable fast, safe, and reliable delivery of business-critical platforms, including eCommerce workloads.

Key Responsibilities:
Platform & Infrastructure
• Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Build and operate scalable environments for Next.js applications and microservices.
• Configure and manage ECS/EKS, RDS (Multi-AZ), ElastiCache, S3, CloudFront, and load balancers.
• Support multi-region architectures, disaster recovery, and high availability designs.
CI/CD & Release Engineering
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines and/or Jenkins.
• Implement optimized pipelines for Nx monorepos, including affected builds and efficient artifact management.
• Own blue/green and zero-downtime deployment strategies for production systems.
Observability & Operations
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Dynatrace, CloudWatch or similar tools.
• Lead incident response activities, participate in on-call rotations, and drive root cause analysis and remediation.
• Ensure operational excellence under pressure in production environments.
Security, Reliability & Cost Optimization
• Enforce AWS security best practices including IAM, KMS, VPC design, and secrets management.
• Partner with teams to ensure compliance, resilience, and data protection.
• Actively monitor and optimize cloud costs through architectural and tooling improvements.
Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with backend and frontend engineers to improve developer experience and platform reliability.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and operational standards.
• Support our transformation toward a LeSS-inspired working model, contributing to shared ownership, broader learning, and a focus on delivering customer value.
• Engage in continuous improvement, helping shape evolving practices, rituals, and team norms as the organization matures in its LeSS journey.
Critical Skills
• AWS Certification: Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer
• Terraform or CloudFormation
• Docker with ECS/EKS orchestration
• Atlassian toolchain (Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines)
• Dynatrace monitoring stack
• Openness to working in a LeSS-inspired environment, embracing shared ownership, cross-team coordination, and empirical learning.
Must Have Skills/Requirements
• Bachelor and/or master’s degree in computer science or comparable experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS production experience, including ECS, RDS, CloudFront, and S3.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS and/or EKS).
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging platforms (Dynatrace, DataDog, CloudWatch).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-availability production environments.
• Strong written and verbal documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience coordinating across multiple IT functions, resources, and complex processes.
• Able to work on a team, good communication and customer-oriented skills, proactivity challenging status quo and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Experience working in a virtual, international and multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of best practices for agile testing on a Scrum team.
• First-hand experience of the intense collaboration in an agile software development team.
