This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as a Payroll Vendor Relationship Manager joining our Global Payroll team. As a dynamic and energetic professional, the Payroll Vendor Relationship Manager will own the collaboration with external Payroll partners. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Payroll Vendor Operations.
What you bring
* Work experience in regional / global payroll vendor operations.
* Work experience in implementing payroll software in multiple countries.
* Work experience in managing third-party payroll vendor relationships.
* Excellent contract negotiation skills.
* Deep understanding of global payroll best practices.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with great attention to detail.
* Excellent proficiency in using spreadsheets.
* Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
* You understand the need and importance to work largely independently.
* Experience working remotely is a plus but not required.
* Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Additional responsibilities include creating and managing internal training resources, maintaining communication with Payroll team management, and supporting the deployment of payroll solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Vendor Scoping & Research: Conduct market research for payroll vendors, develop criteria, and present recommendations.
* New Country Expansion: Manage onboarding projects from vendor selection to system migration.
* Payroll Vendor Relations & Performance Evaluation: Ensure vendor performance aligns with expectations and SLAs.
* Cost Tracking & Analysis: Monitor and report on costs, and analyze headcount and legal entity costs.
* Communication & Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deploy payroll solutions and develop training materials.

* Location: Western South America (Peru, Colombia, Chile)

Remote Compensation Philosophy
Remote offers fair, competitive pay above local rates, considering geographic pay differentials. The salary range for this role is $30,250 to $68,050 USD, based on various factors including location and experience.
