Responsibilities:
* The marketing manager is responsible for driving all marketing activities within the Open Market Channel, including the creation of the annual plan, Quarter to support sales and all its elements;
* Creates a marketing strategy and bespoke plan for the client, in partnership with the client and the sales team to deliver jointly agreed objectives and channel campaigns;
* A creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh and innovative ideas and implement campaigns within each of the key channels (i.e. online, retail store, retention, B2B);
* Works closely with the retail team to design and deliver in-store merchandising solutions, training and communication strategies that drive customer purchase of Xiaomi’s products;
* Leverages the Xiaomi IOT ecosystem to deliver unique propositions for the client;
* Supports premium flagship launches with world-class 360 degree campaign development and high impact channel takeover;
* Able to create agency briefs, prioritise workload and present a suite of ideas to the client;
* Planning and execution of effective promotions to increase sell out and tracks performance.
Requirements:
* University graduate in Marketing and other similar qualification;
* Proven experience in channel marketing for mobile phones and/or wearable IOT devices with extensive understanding of tools to manage cross-channel marketing performance;
* Strategic and analytical thinking to deliver consumer sales growth;
* Ability to articulate advanced marketing ideas and develop proposition concepts;
* Ability to create product launch plans;
* Strong customer-facing communication skills, presentation skills;
* Project management and budget management;
* Previous experience working with Retailers and sales channels preferred (more than 5 years’ experience).
