Note : Ideally, you are located in Galicia to obtain this job.
Some responsibilities of the Trader Assistant - Galicia include:
* Being part of a well-experienced team with a versatility mindset and full alignment with the Sales Department.
* Standardizing all plant requirements for loading across the 3 plants and creating a database of customer logistics requirements.
* Negotiating freight costs with customers in coordination with the Sales Manager, aiming to have at least 3 competitive freight offers for our customer portfolio.
* Centralizing all call-offs and complaints from the 3 plants (Barcelona, Cartagena, Bilbao), working efficiently on a central basis.
* Accommodating call-offs per plant according to refinery planning.
* Forecasting monthly needs aligned with refinery utilization and sales program forecasts.
* Managing customer pricing and contracts, ensuring execution of contracts and monitoring backlogs and financing charges.
* Following up on receivables to monitor working capital performance and implementing financial tools to improve KPIs like ROIG.
* Maintaining a positive attitude towards continuous improvement and learning.
* Having knowledge of current systems, especially ERP (SAP), to automate flows and access the best information.
We are looking for candidates with:
* At least 5 years of working experience.
* A university degree in business or a related field.
* Skills in decision-making and negotiation.
* Fluent in Spanish and English; knowledge of French and Catalan is a plus.
* Customer focus, teamwork, entrepreneurship, results orientation, independence, decision-making ability, and influence skills.
