Structural Heart (SH) is a business unit that provides mínimally invasive treatment for cardiac valves disease and one of the fastest growing businesses in Medtronic's Cardiovascular portfolio. Within Structural Heart business unit, Congenital Therapies (CT) represent a mínimally invasive option to patients suffering Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), a life-threatening condition affecting thousands of children and young adults in Europe. Supported by growing scientific evidence, the therapy is expected to continue to grow and reach an increasing number of patients and medical devices in the future. 
In this exciting opportunity as a Sales Representative, you will provide therapy consultancy and sales support to ensure the safe adoption and growth of Medtronic CT systems and technologies. You will work closely with surgeons and the Medtronic SH field organizations to drive procedural success. You will achieve sales revenue targets and grow market share by promoting, selling, and servicing Medtronic Melody, Harmony, and related Congenital products while developing and implementing market development strategies. 
The working territory is Spain, and you will be preferably located in Madrid. 
**A Day in the Life** 
- Provide excellent therapy advice and education to our CHD implanters for Transcatheter Pulmonary Valve Replacement (TPVR) procedure and products. Support the safe growth of Melody and Harmony products, and additional Congenital products as required. 
- Educate and train CHD implanters and relevant hospital staff on the appropriate use of Medtronic Congenital products. Collaborate with the Medical Education team to ensure that CHD customers receive the highest standard of therapy education and training available in the marketplace and facilitate their participation. 
- Liaise with the other Congenital Sales Representative in Western Europe, providing assistance and ensuring case coverage in other countries when/if required. Attend major European and national Congenital congresses and events. 
- Achieve agreed territory sales targets, focusing on revenue and market share growth. Maintain and expand existing business for CT product lines, working proactively to achieve assigned targets. Be responsible for the invoicing, forecasting, stock levels and deliveries of the business etc. 
- Report device complaints according to the Medtronic Product Experience Reporting standards. 
- Collaborate with the Manager and Marketing Team to implement Therapy Development activities, initiatives and projects designed to help Health Care Provider (HCPs) continually improve clinical practice and clinical outcomes for patients treated with Medtronic Congenital technologies. 
- Manage the Congenital Key Opinion Leaders in the territory on a close and ongoing basis to build strong and long-lasting relationships. Ensure they have access to the latest clinical data and are informed about new therapy insights. Encourage and prepare them to be involved in trainings, events and congresses as requested. 
**Must Haves** 
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in life-science, engineering (biomedical engineering, electrical, IT, natural sciences), cardipneumology or other relevant degree 
- Minimum 2 year of relevant experience in sales roles in Medical Device industry and/or pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Interventional Cardiology or Interventional Radiology 
- Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, conversation, and writing) 
- Computer literacy 
- Clean driver’s license and willingness to travel intensively up to 3 days per week 
- Willingness to work with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians 
- Willingness to provide expert technical support in the operating room in the hospitals 
- Communication skills and motivation to build strong business relationship with customers 
- Teamwork, proactivity and focus on delivering results 
**Nice to Haves** 
- Previous experience in Transcatheter Heart Valve Therapies, ideally in the Congenital space 
- Previous Cardiovascular/Cardiology/Interventional/Cardiac Surgery experience 
- Previous experience in supporting cases in Cath-Labs and/or ORs, and training HCPs 
- Experience in Medical Imaging interpretation (Echocardiography, CT Scan, Angiography) 
- Experience with Marketing and/or Market Development 
- Knowledge of the healthcare system, hospitals & medical background
