We are looking for a** Senior Manager MEC Platform **who can:
- Drive industry, cloud partners, vendors and startups to design Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) Platform service and associated network capabilities which enables Vodafone to offer an attractive, revenue generating, and sustainable ecosystem to enhance customer experience, improve cost efficiencies and deliver new revenue streams
- Drive, in close collaboration with Vodafone Business, Group Commercial, Markets, the Vodafone-wide Development, Business Case, Architecture, Solutions, Architecture, APIs, and Programme Management of MEC
- Drive other Group Network and OpCo functions to prepare local plans, budget, competences, and infrastructure to deploy MEC solutions according to business requirements
- Engage with the markets for PoCs, trials and product deployment
- Support the move of Vodafone from a Telecommunications Company to a Technology Communications Company
**What you bring**:
- Technology management experience in telecommunications networks or major internet service / content providers
- Team management experience
- Good technical and business understanding of Public Cloud
- Excellent analytical and collaborative skills
- Able to work well with Globally distributed as well as virtual teams, and multicultural environment
- Good experience and understanding of Mobile and Fixed Networks including 2G/3G/4G/5G/NB-IoT/Cat-M/WiFi access technologies
- Software development experience
- Good understanding in AWS / Azure / GCP technologies and their potentials is an asset
