British American Tobacco Iberia has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Executive in Madrid.
This role is part of the Commercial Finance team. You will provide proactive commercial insights and transparency of marketing decisions for effective resource allocation across the value chain, lead the development of strong commercial awareness within the marketing function, and develop best practice methodologies and tools.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
* Proactive business partnering in marketing decision-making, bringing financial and business focus to marketing activities, and raising marketing teams’ awareness about financial KPIs for evaluating marketing efforts.
* Facilitating effective resource allocation by supervising marketing budget/plan preparation and providing accurate, timely information to support marketing management in monitoring performance.
* Providing marketing management with financial information and KPIs on brand and trade marketing plans and activities to facilitate decision-making and improve spend effectiveness.
* Motivating and developing one team member.
What are we looking for?
* University degree in Economics or relevant area.
* Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
* At least 3 years of relevant experience.
* High proficiency in MS Office.
* Knowledge in budget management and resource allocation.
* Knowledge of pricing, excise, and portfolio strategy (advantage).
* Effective leadership and initiative-driving skills.
* Proactive, persuasive, creative, and willing to challenge ideas.
* Project management skills with the ability to prioritize in multi-project environments.
