We provide the best solutions to our clients in these three businesses across the 10 countries where we operate. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pSantander Alternative Investments is looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager based in our Castellana 24 office. Santander Alternatives is a growing business that started almost 3 years ago with €2.5 bn in commitments in core strategies for the group. We aim to develop funds where we have a clear competitive advantage to generate alpha for our institutional and UHNWI clients. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEngage with the Santander Group to leverage existing franchises to distribute the fund among Santander clients. /li liSource, analyse and monitor investment opportunities. /li liDay‑to‑day management of portfolios, including composition. /li liEnsure portfolios comply with investment criteria and align with objectives and restrictions. /li liLead the execution and implementation of Investment Committee decisions in daily activities of the funds. /li liLead credit, risk and legal analysis for transactions and portfolios, supporting valuation methodology discussions from a fund‑management perspective. /li liNegotiate with banks and other financial institutions to obtain financing (subscription lines and NAV financing) for the investment‑grade semi‑liquid strategy. /li liDeliver supporting documentation for each acquisition such as legal documentation, valuation methodologies, and credit submissions. /li liSupport the management team in the search for alternative investment strategies. /li /ul h3What You’ll Bring /h3 pOur people are our greatest strength.
