Overview
Sales Manager Industrial Manufacturing Spain & France for a company based in Zaragoza. The role plans, organizes and conducts the sales activities on the European market in the Industrial - Manufacturing segment (tooling machines, compressors, dental tooling manufacturing, oilmist separator applications) to achieve the sales plan for Spain and France. Strong focus on business development and growth activities, including strategic sales mapping per customer.
Responsibilities
* Strategic sales planning including business development mapping for France and Spain to generate business growth in line with company targets.
* Develop new target Key Accounts and implement sales strategies to achieve sales and margin targets.
* Identify growth markets and provide targeted strategies for them.
* Focus on new business acquisition activities.
* Manage day-to-day sales activities for existing or new key accounts, maintaining positive, long-term relationships at the local level.
* Engage in customer discussions to understand solution needs.
* Undertake site surveys to analyze needs and evaluate technical feasibility; create proposals defining solutions for customer applications.
* Define sales prices based on cost and market conditions, in cooperation with HQ Sub-Segment Industrial and local sales management.
* Prepare and present quotations and technical proposals with technical, commercial, and economic information.
* Align project deliverables with customer requirements regarding technical needs, timelines and budget.
* Conduct contract negotiations with support from the legal department and negotiate prices with key accounts in line with pricing strategy.
* Oversee sales support activities (sales administration, customer service, invoicing, credit and collections) to ensure orders are processed, dispatched, invoiced and paid on time.
* Work in cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals, especially for new business.
* Coordinate ideal aftermarket approach with related departments. Participate in industry fairs and customer events to ensure market competitiveness.
* Forecast customer/market trends for forward planning and monitor competitors’ activities to maintain market transparency.
* Monthly update of forecast system for sales, new business acquisitions and bookings.
* Support in localization projects.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience, Competencies
* Minimum 5 years' experience in multi-level selling to major accounts in a B2B technical sales environment with a proven track record.
* Fluent business-level English, Spanish and French.
* Degree in commercial engineering or related technical discipline.
* Knowledge of filtration products and customer business.
* Business acumen, customer orientation, organization and coordination skills, self-initiative and ability to work under pressure.
* MS Office skills.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, conflict management, communication and presentation skills.
* Strong entrepreneurial and competitive instincts.
