At MCI, we're accelerating our digital transformation and are looking for a Group AI Team Leader to drive the creation and adoption of AI agents across our global organisation (MCI-Group). Based in Barcelona, you'll play a strategic role in shaping the future of how our teams work with AI.
What will be your Responsibilities:Lead operationally the development and deployment of AI agents and solutionsGuide and shape AI projects, working closely with business leaders, vendors, and third-party providersDesign and review AI architectures and workflowsAct as Business Analyst and Project Manager for AI initiatives, ensuring timely and quality deliveryEnsure compliance with relevant security and data protection standards (e.g., ISO 27001, 27701, GDPR)Report directly to the Group Digital Transformation ManagerCollaborate closely with the Global Digital Empowerment Team, Global Infrastructure, Security & Workplace, and our CIOLead and mentor a team of two AI Developers

What We're Looking ForYou bring at least 5 years of hands-on expertise in project management or business analysis within IT/AIDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldProven track record in leading digital transformation or AI projectsExperience in team managementFluent in English and Spanish (speaking and writing); French is a strong assetProficiency with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, and OpenAI APIStrong organisational, communication, and facilitation skillsSelf-starter with excellent work ethics and ability to interact at all levelsGood knowledge of AI agent development and cloud platformsExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skillsExperience with vendor management and contract negotiationITIL certification is a plus
