Corporate Accountant
is primarily responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, related postings in the sub-ledger and general ledger, and other accounting tasks as guided by the Accounting Manager.The Corporate Accountant is a key member of the accounting team, acting as the second level check in the corporate control system. Responsibilities include ensuring purchasing processes and approvals are followed, maintaining data integrity, including line coding, vendor/customer setup, and payment processing. The role requires a general knowledge of full cycle accounting.ResponsibilitiesPerform accounting and clerical tasks related to transaction processing;
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings and internal reporting;
Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable records;
Support vendor file maintenance, including terms and contact details;
Assist the Accounting Manager with monthly management account closing in line with group policies and schedule;
Conduct regular (monthly) Balance Sheet reviews;
Prepare weekly cash reports;
Support departmental goals and requirements for efficiency and effectiveness;
Maintain department files and databases;
Assist with local (Spanish) and group tax matters.RequirementsUniversity degree in Accounting or equivalent experience (minimum 2 years);
Previous managerial experience is a plus;
Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written);
Spanish is a plus;
Ability to work effectively in a team in a fast-paced environment;
Excellent communication,organizational, and proactive skills with attention to detail;
Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus;
