We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Support Specialist responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our SAP landscape. This role ensures system stability, integrity, and security through proactive performance tuning, upgrades, and collaboration with IT teams to optimize operations, manage integrations, and resolve technical issues.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining SAP S/4HANA systems, including application servers, databases, and external integrations.
2. Analyzing and optimizing system performance, managing memory, workload, and tuning efforts.
3. Performing upgrades, enhancement package installations, and SAP notes implementation with minimal business disruption.
4. Managing SAP security settings, user roles, and authorization profiles in line with GRC policies.
5. Handling escalated support issues related to system performance, access, and errors, troubleshooting incidents and system misconfigurations.
6. Monitoring system health proactively, resolving failures and database/application errors.
7. Managing integrations with other enterprise applications, including third-party and cloud services.
8. Maintaining technical documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures.
9. Collaborating with SAP functional teams, IT infrastructure, and business stakeholders to support and improve systems.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field.
* Several years of experience in SAP consulting or support roles.
* Project management experience is a plus.
* Strong knowledge of SAP CALM, BTP, and CPI.
* Understanding of key business processes and their interaction with SAP systems.
* Proficiency in English (C1 or higher); knowledge of German or Spanish is advantageous.
* Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
