The Regional Quality Systems & Project Manager's main responsibility is to support monitoring, controlling, and reporting on BQ EMEA bakery performance, compliance, and strategic initiatives.
Key Job Responsibilities :
* KPI’s governance & reporting : Consolidate, report, and analyze Quality & Food Safety KPIs to assess progress against Business Plan objectives, identify priorities, and monitor critical action plans from recalls, complaints, incidents, and audit findings.
* Compliance monitoring : Monitor and communicate compliance to Customers, Legal, and Internal BQ-GB standards; support communication and implementation of new standards; investigate deviations.
* Systems Management & Training : Provide technical support and training on Customer platforms (e.g., McD SIM, OnPoint, Amabis, KFC TraceOne) and BQ Quality systems (e.g., Power BI, SPC), suggesting continuous improvements.
* Projects Management : Manage execution of Customer projects and BQ strategic initiatives following Project Management methodologies.
* CAPEX monitoring : Track Food Safety & Quality CAPEX and investments, justifying delays or cancellations.
* Document Management : Oversee Quality & Food Safety Document Control & Management System.
* Assist with data requests, organization, and presentation.
* Support internal reviews, meetings, and training material preparation.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Key competencies and skills :
* Excellent communication, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
* High accuracy in processing written information and attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Co-Pilot).
* Data management and analysis skills, including experience with Excel Pivot tables and Power BI.
* Experience with Project Management tools (Gantt charts, MS Planner, Smartsheet).
* Leadership qualities, autonomous initiative-taking, results-oriented, and change leadership.
Education and Work Experience :
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing, preferably in Bakeries.
* Knowledge of GMP and Food Safety Standards.
* Experience with QSR customers (McDonald’s, RBI, KFC) is a plus.
* Proficiency in English (B2 or higher); basic Spanish understanding.
Additional Information :
The position can be based anywhere in Continental Europe where BQ or Bimbo has a bakery.
