(Re-)Orders materials and / or equipment where needed, registers these in the relevant databases / systems, provides input on the performance of suppliers, inspects, manages, and maintains materials, tools, and / or equipment in stock to ensure optimal availability for production and delivery, and identifies bottlenecks or inadequacies in logistics processes.
Inbound goods and storing :
o Coordinates the intake of incoming materials and / or equipment, checks and registers quantities, damages, and completeness, organizes unloading and storage locations, ensures proper unloading, labelling, and storing of items at the correct locations, and verifies the completeness and visual quality of delivered materials to prepare for efficient distribution to internal customers.
o Receives and processes orders from internal and external customers, checks, packs, and distributes materials and / or equipment to the required locations, either in cooperation with warehouse staff or directly, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Outbound goods and transport planning scheduling :
o Ensures goods and materials are transport-ready, including dispatch/delivery documentation and communication with drivers.
o Supports routing and scheduling of vehicles based on customer requests to meet expectations and optimize vehicle utilization.
o Arranges transportation for delivery of goods and materials to internal and external customers.
Systems and Administration :
o Manages the intake and distribution of materials and equipment in relevant systems, registers hours and logistics data, and provides reports to stakeholders to maintain up-to-date inventory and throughput insights.
o Ensures that order handling, quotations, administration, IT systems, and master data maintenance adhere to Nutreco standards for high-quality logistics processes.
o Manages customer relationships, handles requests appropriately, and maintains customer satisfaction and positive relations.
o Monitors, benchmarks, and evaluates logistics processes, tools, and systems, and implements improvements for continuous optimization.
