Description Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite Senior Test Engineer for InCar Applications project. The project aims to optimize and extend new features in Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and development is targeted to an Automotive Solution that will be deployed in newest European cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to the technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation. We are building a computer‑in‑the‑car architecture – key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Extensive proven experience in manual testing and test automation, ideally in automotive and/or mobile applications.
Strong understanding of testing principles, covering manual and automated testing for mobile, embedded, and in‑vehicle systems.
Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for test automation. Experience with in‑vehicle testing and vehicle communication (e.g., CAN).
Experience with test bench setups, testing of automotive systems, including automation tools and issue tracking (e.g., JIRA).
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills. Strong communication, leadership, and time management abilities.
Experience with Android testing and automation.
Professional working proficiency in English (B2+).
Working on client premises near Barcelona.
Job Responsibilities
Define acceptance criteria based on functional requirements and documented risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive test cases (manual and automated) aligned with use cases and project documentation.
Execute tests with full traceability, considering various software and hardware variants (e.g., ECUs, OSs, vehicle configurations).
Develop and implement test automation, focusing on regression test suites to ensure software stability and maximize efficiency and coverage.
Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and define/review sprint tasks.
Generate quality status reports, graphs, and statistics. Track and report key testing KPIs (e.g., coverage, execution rates, issue prioritization).
Prepare and submit required quality reports.
