Summer Internship Position Available with World Abroad Connect in Milan/Madrid

World Abroad Connect, the U.S. subsidiary of the Italian company Knowhow, is opening applications for a Full-Time Internship in Milan/Madrid during the summer of 2026. Knowhow specializes in providing integrated services for universities and companies in the management of study abroad programs for international students, especially from the United States, offering infrastructure, housing, cultural activities, transportation and excursions.
Start date: April 1st, 2026
End date: August 5th, 2026
Location: Milan and/or Madrid, depending on staffing needs to be defined closer to the start date.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a responsible, organized, adaptable person with strong teamwork skills and a high level of attention to the safety and well-being of international students.
Valued characteristics:
Organizational skills to plan activities and transfers.
Communication skills to interact with international students, program staff and external organizations.
Patience and flexibility when facing unexpected changes or last-minute situations.
Requirements
Excellent level of English (Italian and Spanish are a plus).
Basic knowledge of Excel.
Possession of a personal computer.
Intern Responsibilities
Customer service – 24/7 support
Support during events and trips
Various administrative tasks
The position offers
Accommodation in a student residence, with a private room and private or shared kitchen (moving into the residence is mandatory).
Monthly remuneration of 600 €.
Reimbursement of round-trip transportation to Milan if necessary.
Public transport pass in the assigned city.
Free participation in all activities and trips organized for the students.
