Head of Technical Services – Full‑time (Mid‑Senior level)
Be part of the Barceló Hotel Group, one of the largest hotel chains in Spain and among the top 30 worldwide. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead and manage technical operations across our properties.
Responsibilities
* Establish and oversee operations to improve facilities, machinery, furniture, or property, ensuring optimal performance.
* Verify correct allocation of repair and maintenance receipts.
* Develop budget studies for installations, machinery, and preventive maintenance.
* Supervise the material warehouse, monitoring inventory entries and exits.
* Conduct physical inventories of machinery, installations, and furnishings.
* Oversee maintenance of gardens and sports facilities.
* Plan and supervise works for special events (banquets, conferences, etc.).
* Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
* Propose disinfection and insecticide programs in line with official health standards.
* Assist the department head in preparing shifts, schedules, attendance records, absences, and staffing.
Qualifications
* Secondary education in Maintenance (or equivalent).
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
* Advanced English skills (desired).
* Strong knowledge of office software and hospitality operations.
* Excellent organizational and planning skills.
* Effective time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
* Clear communication skills and a collaborative team spirit.
