Senior Analyst – Project & Plant Controlling
Location: Sant Boi, Barcelona
Key Responsibilities
* Perform comprehensive financial analysis and monitoring for projects and plant operations.
* Develop and maintain accurate project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures.
* Analyze project and plant performance, identifying improvement areas and cost‑saving opportunities.
* Partner with project managers, tendering team and plant leadership to provide financial guidance and actionable insights.
* Conduct variance analysis and explain deviations from budgets and forecasts.
* Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
* Lead financial planning and support strategic decision‑making processes.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and key internal controls.
Required Skills
* Strong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial management systems.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, cross‑functional team environment.
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
* 8 to 9 years of proven experience in Project Controlling, Plant Cost Control, or similar roles.
* Oracle ERP knowledge; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CPA) are a plus.
* Professional fluency in English.
