In this Technical Lead role, you shape AI and computer vision solutions for in-cabin monitoring in vehicles. You guide the AI/CV team, define model architectures, and ensure robust deployment on embedded automotive hardware. You’ll drive data quality, training pipelines, and real-time inference performance to boost safety and on-board experience. This position offers leadership in a highly specialized, market-facing domain with a focus on delivering production-ready solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to the AI and CV development team and drive complex design decisions
• Define and validate CV model architectures for detection, classification, gaze tracking, behavior analysis and related components
• Make strategic decisions on frameworks, models, training pipelines and inference processes for performance and quality
• Oversee data preparation, annotation and quality for synthetic and real datasets for training and validation
• Optimize models for embedded platforms (e.g., Jetson) and automotive-specific hardware architectures
• Coordinate and prioritize technical tasks and support team members’ growth
• Serve as a technical reference in AI for automotive, offering vision and judgment in a specialized environment
Responsabilidades
• Experience in real-world computer vision projects, ideally in production or industrial settings
• Practical experience training, validating and deploying DL models for CV tasks
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow; knowledge of Darknet is a plus
• Experience with state-of-the-art detection models (YOLO, Detectron or equivalents)
• Strong knowledge of real-time image/video processing, optimization and efficient inference xpzdshu pipelines
• Experience Linux environments and using GPUs for training and inference
• Previous experience as a technical reference or leading specialized development teams
• Ability to analyze, decide and justify technical choices ensuring solution robustness
