Head of ElectriciansResponsibilities:
Manage a team of electricians, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to schedules and safety protocolscordinate and execute electrical installations and maintenance on ships and marine structuresconduct inspections and assessments of electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutionscollaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulationsdevelop and maintain documentation, including work orders, reports, and maintenance logtrain and mentor junior electricians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill developmentstay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to marine electrical systems.Respond to emergencies and provide troubleshooting support as neededmaintain inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, coordinating procurement as necessaryRequirements:
Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a marine or shipyard environmentstrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a teamextensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniquesexcellent communication and interpersonal skillsability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentvalid electrician's license or certificationphysical stamina and agility to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heightsproficiency in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematicscommitment to safety and quality standardsPreferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial roleadditional certifications or training in marine electrical systemsfamiliarity with marine-specific electrical regulations and standards (e.G., ABS, SOLAS)salary:
€30,000 – €40,000 gross per yearopportunity to be part of the creation of a new shipyardprofessional development, acquisition of new skills, and the possibility to independently build your own teamSeniority level
