Job Description
The Project Manager 1 is responsible for the coordination of customer implementation projects from initiation through project closure. They are responsible for project scheduling and coordination, budget control, non-conformity resolution, and risk management.
Responsibilities
* Utilize the Project Implementation Methodology and related tools to bring projects to successful completion within scope, on time and within budget.
* Facilitate and coordinate client meetings using engaging, informative presentation methodologies.
* Create and maintain project documentation utilizing methods prescribed by the PM.
* Administer and update project plans that specify goals, strategy, and scheduling.
* Act as a project coordinator for client engagements.
* Manage timely and effective updates to key contacts.
* Oversee activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule.
* Provide support to other Project Management team members as directed.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Microsoft Windows and Office proficient.
* Oral and written communication skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact.
* Facilitation and project management skills.
* Organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Self-motivated with the ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
* Average travel requirements for this job is 30% annualized; yet unique circumstances with customers may require more travel.
* Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job.
