This legal role is part of a global legal team based in Barcelona, reporting to the GC of Home Care Products in Singapore, with a secondary reporting line to the GC UBO in London and Singapore. The team supports various legal functions, including supervising external and internal legal support, managing complex matters, and advising on contractual and compliance issues.
The position requires a mature candidate with proven legal skills and supervisory experience, capable of managing sensitive and complex legal matters, and providing clear, concise legal advice to support business operations.
Key responsibilities include supervising legal work, drafting and reviewing contracts, identifying legal risks, providing business-oriented legal support, and facilitating collaboration within the legal team and with business partners.
Qualifications include a law degree, current bar qualification, at least 12 years of legal advisory experience, and a passion for ESG topics. Strong English drafting skills, business acumen, and experience with complex contracts related to funding, technology, and sustainability are essential. Knowledge of commodities like palm and soy is preferred.
