Job Title: International Business Development Manager
Responsible to: Global Sales & Marketing Manager
Location: Alicante, Spain
Our client is hiring an International Business Manager – Europe (Primary Focus: France & Italy) to lead their expansion into key European markets. This is a high-impact role for someone who can combine market analysis, strategic planning, and hands-on sales execution to open new markets and build long-term business.
The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, results-driven, and confident in engaging with decision-makers across the elevator industry. You’ll be responsible for developing a strong business case, identifying and targeting strategic accounts, and growing revenue in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Entry & Expansion Strategy
Research and assess elevator industry markets across Europe, with immediate focus on France and Italy.
Develop and present an entry strategy and business case for target markets.
Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
Sales & Business Development
Identify, engage, and convert new customers, including from the European elevator industry.
Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across priority markets.
Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the company’s overall growth strategy.
Client & Partner Relationship Management
Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and strategic partners.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings across Europe.
Identify and explore opportunities for local partnerships or service representation.
Reporting and Forecasting
Track and report on business development activities, progress, and results
Provide accurate sales forecasts and develop action plans for achieving targets
Monthly reporting on sales activity and performance.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Provide regular feedback to the leadership team on market progress and customer needs.
Contribute to marketing and product strategy based on regional insights.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in B2B international sales or business development, specifically from the elevator industry.
Fluent in English, with professional-level French or Italian (ideally both); other European languages are a plus.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute a go-to-market plan.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-starter comfortable working independently.
Results-focused with a commercial mindset and hands-on approach.
