Experteer Overview As a Security Engineer at Google Distributed Cloud, you help uphold a safe operating environment for users and developers. You will partner with product and security teams to identify and fix security flaws, while driving compliance across multiple regimes. The role focuses on air-gapped security architectures and governance to ensure continuous compliance for regulated customers. You will shape security design, auditable processes, and certification activities that support mission-critical deployments.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Analyze regulatory frameworks (government, ISO, commercial standards) to ensure alignment for GDC-ag
- Lead end-to-end compliance engineering projects, including audit evidence automation, monitoring solutions, and reporting tools
- Conduct technical design reviews, risk assessments, and implementation audits for secure, compliant architectures
- Provide SME support during certification audits, security assessments, and cross-functional meetings
- Collaborate with security and product teams to improve incident and vulnerability response and overall security postureResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages
- 5 years of experience with applications security, cryptography, network security, systems security or malware analysis
- Experience with compliance and accreditation process
