Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow) - Position Overview:
Join our global marketing team as the Market Manager, reporting directly to the CMO. You will be responsible for designing, leading, and executing diverse events both externally with partners and internally, including managing Dida’s worldwide tradeshow presence. We seek creative professionals with proven experience in developing and executing high-quality events that enhance attendee experience and company perception.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with Dida’s business goals.Manage all aspects of event logistics:
venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and scheduling.Oversee large-scale B2B events across multiple regions, such as conferences, trade shows, and partner summits.Create and manage sponsorship programs in collaboration with the commercial teams.Attendee Experience & Engagement:
Design attendee journeys to maximize engagement and satisfaction.Coordinate registration, ticketing, and platform integrations for seamless management.Ensure high-quality content delivery, including speaker coordination and interactive sessions.Logistics & Operations:
Lead on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, A/V, catering, and transportation.Maintain relationships with venues, vendors, and exhibitors for flawless delivery.Manage event technology such as virtual/hybrid platforms and lead retrieval systems.Marketing & Promotion:
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and manage post-event follow-up.Develop branding, signage, and promotional materials consistent with Dida’s identity.Utilize social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to extend event reach.Budget & Performance Analysis:
Monitor budgets to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.Measure success via KPIs like attendance, engagement, and lead generation.Provide post-event reports for continuous improvement.Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 5 years of event management experience, preferably in B2B travel, tech, or hospitality.Experience organizing large, multi-day events with 500+ attendees.Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.Fluent in English;
additional languages like Mandarin are a plus.Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and attendee experience design.Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms.Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel internationally regularly.Additional Details:
