This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and international team of technically trained support engineers delivering day‐to‐day remote telephone support services for Agilent's Life Science and Chemical Analysis customers. Become part of the Agilent CrossLab organization, a network of experts who help our customers improve laboratory performance and meet vital business needs.
As a Remote Support Engineer, you will provide technical support to external customers via phone, email, chat, or social media, using remote diagnostic capabilities. Focusing on chromatography (GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, and others), your goal will be to reduce customer downtime and identify repair strategies. To be successful you must be very customer‐focused, confident, flexible, and willing to go the extra mile for our customers. You'll receive all the training and development opportunities you need to become the best in your field.
Key Responsibilities
Identify customer issues and provide a high level of reactive and proactive technical services in support of Agilent's product portfolio
Ensure customer satisfaction by guiding, assisting, and training users on maintenance and configurations
Remote troubleshooting on hardware and software
Providing problem resolution to optimize the efficiency and uptime availability of customer systems
This is a hybrid position based in our offices in Barcelona, with partial work from home (2 days a week).
Qualifications
University Degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences based discipline
Hands‐on experience (internship, apprenticeship, university projects or first postgraduate experience) with chromatography and spectrometry analytical techniques such as GC, GCMS, LC, LCMS, HPLC, ICPMS, ICPOES...
Full proficiency in English and Spanish
On a personal level, you are autonomous, outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team. You have great communication and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners. You show a real can‐do attitude and you like helping others and solving problems. Whilst being flexible and adaptable, you also have strong planning and organizational skills .
