We're looking for an IT Engineer to join our team in Granada, Spain. The Position: As a Systems Engineer in the Product Development team, you will play a key role in the shaping of our new product feature developments. Working with Product Management, Applications Engineering, and the Product Development teams you will use your knowledge of embedded system architecture and state-of-the-art technologies to take high level requirements and customer use cases to define system architectures, functional requirements, and implementation strategies. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who can see “the big picture” and then is easily able to understand how a capability transcends between domains to guide the development team on implementation details. What you bring to Safran T4D: • Experience with embedded system architecture design • Experience with working from customer use cases to design definition • Strong development experience with embedded software • Strong technical knowledge of embedded hardware system design • Background in signal processing and control systems • Oral and written communication skills • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering • Minimum 5 years of experience with relevant electronic products The exceptional candidate will have some of these additional qualifications: • Experience in data center environments and advanced network routing • Experience with timing systems and oscillators • Experience DSP algorithm design and performance qualification What you'll be doing: • Using your system knowledge, define and capture the requirements, architecture, and implementation strategy for our product features • Collaborate with Product Management, Applications Engineering, Hardware, Software, FPGA, and Mechanical Engineers on defining solutions meeting product requirements and customer use cases • Mentoring and guiding other engineers on architectural implementations and design best-practices • Provide consultancy, analysis, and technical expertise to customer requirements. • Work with the Product Testing team on the definition of test methods and strategies for both new and existing capabilities • Shaping our product designs to ensure the architectures meet the current and future needs of our customers • Designing architectures and developing proof-of-concept implementations The keys of our offer: Be part of a leading and expanding company.
